This program is designed for visitors travelling to Japan from overseas, and is not available to residents of Japan. If you live in Japan and hold a Japanese health insurance card issued by a public authority, please contact Oike Clinic directly regarding our domestic health check-up programs.

There are limited slots for upper endoscopy, MRI and PET. We recommend making an appointment two months in advance of your desired date.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover and JCB are available.

You can both change the date of your visit and cancel. Please check our cancellation policy, as fees may apply depending on the timing. If you change the date, no cancellation fee is charged, please rebook within 365 days of your original appointment date.

English and Chinese individual interpreters can be arranged; for other languages, please consult us when booking. The result report is available in Japanese, English and Chinese, and can be sent to your address in Japan or overseas (overseas delivery takes about one month).

Two stool samples collected on separate days are required, starting four days before your appointment. We therefore recommend entering Japan 2–3 days before your appointment.

We will send the specimen container to your preferred address in Japan, please let us know your pick-up location.

Fasting is necessary for accurate testing, especially blood tests, upper endoscopy, MRI, PET and upper abdominal ultrasound. For morning examinations, fast from the night before; for afternoon examinations, fast from that morning. Details are in the documents we send you.

Yes. For imaging tests, upper endoscopy or gynecological tests we will check availability in advance, as slots are limited. Blood tests have no slot limits. Please contact us by e-mail.

Yes. The PET facility is located at Oike Clinic, so the PET scan itself will be performed at Oike Clinic.

We recommend adding PET-CT to the Executive package. In this case, we ask you to visit the clinic over two days.

If you have any concerns, such as claustrophobia, please do not hesitate to ask our staff for help.

We can refer you to a specialized or affiliated medical institution in Japan for further examination, depending on your situation. Our facility cannot provide treatment or medication, and any treatment in Japan is at your own expense.

Please bring your urine and stool sample containers. If you wear contact lenses, bring your lens case. Details are in the documents we send you in advance.

Do not skip regular medication based on your own judgment, please consult your primary doctor in advance.

If you arrive after the reception time we have notified, you may not be able to take the examination, and the fee will not be refunded. Please arrive on time.

There are two types: oral and nasal. Please choose at the time of your appointment.

The endoscopy is performed after local anesthesia of the pharynx or nasal cavity.

Yes. Sedation is available for an additional fee. Age restrictions apply, and the examination and recovery take longer than usual. Please remove nail polish and refrain from driving on the day. See the upper endoscopy page for details.

Breast ultrasound is superior for examining the interior of abnormal structures. Mammography excels at detecting microscopic calcifications for diagnosing early-stage breast cancer.

If you have breast implants, including fat-transfer augmentation, you cannot have a mammogram, please choose breast ultrasound.

For safety reasons, we do not perform examinations on pregnant women.

Urine tests, fecal tests, Pap smears and transvaginal ultrasound cannot be provided during menstruation, as results may be less accurate.
